Providing special instructions to the 911 operator before an emergency occurs can save lives and time, and aid in the response of emergency service personnel.

Signing up for the Citizen Address Response Enhancement (CARE) system through the Century Link phone system allows for residences and businesses to attach detail information to their Century Link telephone number that will display to the 911 operators when they call for an emergency.
