Third Annual BernCo Bernie’s Sheep Day and First Impression Youth Rodeo

Cowboys and cowgirls, it’s time to strap those boots on and get ready for the Third Annual BernCo Bernie’s Sheep Day and First Impression Youth Day Rodeo. It takes place on Saturday, Aug. 6 at Bernalillo County’s Dennison Park Rodeo Grounds in the South Valley, 7001 Coors Blvd. SW. The event will run from 9 a.m. ‘til the sheep come home.

Vendor Applications Being Accepted for Bosque Chile Festival

Registration is now open for the inaugural Bosque Chile Festival, which will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Food and beverage vendors; arts and craft vendors; fresh produce and agricultural value added vendors; and chile inspired vendors applications are available at www.bernco.gov/bosquechilefestival. The early bird registration deadline is Monday, Aug. 2.
