Bernalillo County Cultural Assets Mapping and Survey Study

Bernalillo County, along with Creative Albuquerque, conducted this study in 2013; results are being used to take an in-depth look at the county’s cultural resources to plan for future investment, consider public needs and desires, tourism marketing strategies and future arts and cultural programming.

  • “History of the Pajarito Neighborhood” Presented by Elaine Luján The Stories of the Middle Rio Grande - Villages of the Rio Grande series is a collection of lectures by local historians designed to bring to life the rich history and cultural traditions of the Albuquerque area from historic Old Town traveling south to the Pueblo of Isleta, one neighborhood at time. The events are free and take place at 10:30 a.m. at the Gutierrez-Hubbell House, 6029 Isleta SW, on the fourth Saturday of every month, from February to September 2016.
