  • District 3 Commissioner Maggie Hart Stebbins invites all to her next monthly neighborhood luncheon Wednesday, September 16, from noon - 1 p.m. at McKinley Community Center. This month’s guest speaker is Phillip Greer, Chief of the Metropolitan Detention Center. Phillip Greer has worked in the corrections field for 24 years, serving in Missouri, Kansas, South Dakota and Minnesota before coming to Bernalillo County. A graduate of Park University in Parkville, Mo., Chief Greer has completed multiple advanced correctional leadership programs, including the prestigious National Institute of Corrections Executive Excellence program.
