2012-2017 Capital Improvement Program
2014 General Obligation Bond Initiative
The constituent request form is intended to collect detailed information about desired projects directly from the citizens of Bernalillo County.
A “capital improvement” is defined as a substantial, physical asset with a useful life of 10 years or greater.
Capital improvement projects from past bond cycles include the Deputy James McGrane Public Safety Complex in the East Mountains, the North Valley Bike Park at Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center in the North Valley, the renovated Paradise Hills Senior Meal Site in Paradise Hills, and the Eubank Boulevard road construction project in the northeast heights.
A project request can be submitted online for consideration in the 2014 CIP GO Bond cycle from now until May 9, 2014. Any proposed project submitted after May 9, 2014 will be rolled over to the 2016 CIP GO Bond cycle.
If the requestor provides an email address, a confirmation number will be provided in order to follow-up on that specific capital improvement project request. The more detailed and accurate the information on the request form, the better the evaluation process of that request will be.
