||Willow Misty Parks was elected to serve as Bernalillo County Probate Judge. She is a practicing attorney licensed by the New Mexico State Bar. She earned her law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. Willow is a sole practitioner operating Parks Law Office, LLC where her practice centers on small business formation and start-up, wills, trusts, probate and estate planning.
Willow is an educator and public speaker as well. She teaches business law and employment law for the UNM Anderson School of Management, MBA and EMBA programs. She also teaches for Central New Mexico Community College in the business administration program and the paralegal studies department. She speaks frequently on estate planning to help New Mexicans learn about wills and probate. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the Health Law Scholar Award of 2004 which is selected on the basis of excellence in the study and research of health law. She is a NM certified notary public.
As probate judge she will continue outreach to the public and hopes to increase their access to the probate court.
A New Mexico native, Willow has lived almost all of her life in Albuquerque.
