Purpose

The purpose of the County Development Review Authority is to enforce the Bernalillo County Subdivision and Land Development Standards Ordinance. The CDRA reviews proposals for land to be platted or replatted so as to constitute a subdivision as defined by the Subdivision Ordinance for real property located within the jurisdiction of the county. Through powers delegated by the Bernalillo County Board of Commissioners, the CDRA is responsible for ensuring the public health, safety, and welfare of county residents through the harmonious, orderly, and progressive development of land within the county.
