2017 APS/CNM Election

Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) and Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) will host an election on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.

The purpose of the APS Election will be to elect members of the Board of Education in school board districts 3, 5, 6, and 7.

The purpose of the CNM Election will be to elect members to the Governing Board in districts 1, 3, 5, and 7 for four-year terms and in district 4 for a two-year term to complete the remainder of an unfinished term.

Voter Registration

To be eligible to vote in the APS and CNM elections, you must register to vote by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.  For more information on voter registration, click here.

Absentee Voting

Absentee ballots will be mailed out to individuals who have successfully filed an application beginning on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 and will continue through Friday, February 3, 2017 at 5 p.m.  Absentee ballots must be returned to the Bernalillo County Clerk's Office or to a polling location by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.

Early Voting

Eligible voters may cast a ballot early at any of 12 Early Voting Convenience Centers.  These locations will be open Tuesday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning Wednesday, January 18 until Saturday, February 4.  You may vote at any of the 12 locations.

Election Day

32 Voting Convenience Centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, February 7, 2017.  You may vote at any of the 32 locations.
