COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE

The County Clerk is responsible for conducting major elections, including the Primary and General Elections in even-numbered years, and the APS and CNM elections in odd-numbered years. The County Clerk also assists with municipal elections.
All public records are filed in the Clerk's Office. Indexes are available on-line under Document Search. Public Records include Deeds, Mortgages, Liens, Judgements, Marriage Licenses, Recording and Filing, and other public record documents. Divorces and Foreclosures are filed in District Court.

New On-Line Marriage License Application Process
The Bernalillo County Clerk’s office is pleased to announce that you can now apply for a marriage license on-line. Couples will still need to visit the Clerk's Office to sign their application in person but filling out the on-line form will shortcut your time spent at the Clerk's Office.
