  • Seniors 50 +who are members of the City of Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs can register for adapted aquatics classes taught at the UNM Therapeutic Pool (92 degree water). Participants will be led through a series of range of motion exercises that will increase joint mobility and develop muscular strength. Transportation from Vista Grande is provided and leaves the center at 12:20. Space is limited. Class cost is donation of $8. Register in person or over the phone at Palo Duro Sports and Fitness 880-2800 or Los Volcanes Fitness Center 839-3710 or North Domingo Baca Fitness Center at 764-6496.

  • Join us July 28-29 for a Camp In at Los Vecinos Community Center. The fun begins July 28 at 6 p.m. and ends the next day at 8 a.m. The cost is $15 and does not include activity fees. For kids ages 10-14. Registration begins July 5 and program spaces are limited to 25. For more information, call the center at (505) 314-0240.
