BernCo Public Art on Display at Historic Middle Rio Grande Council of Governments Building

The Bernalillo County Arts Board held a reception for artists Dana Kleinmann and Tim Mullane following their January board meeting at the historic Middle Rio Grande Council of Governments building at 809 Copper NW in downtown Albuquerque.

Several pieces in the county's collection, including works by Russell Hamilton and Therese Evangel, will hang in the historic building until further notice.  

A four-story wall piece by California artist Claudio Dayton also hangs in the building.

  • Get into the Halloween spirit while keeping it green by learning how to make your own costume out of recycled materials. In this workshop we will explore various costuming techniques using upcycled materials. Feel free to bring any recycled items and/or repurposed clothing that you would like to transform into a costume.
