El Camino Real Trade Fair

Experience life along the El Camino Real with a trade fair at the Hubbell House. The day's activities include weaving demonstrations, educational sessions, living history re-enactments, a turquoise trunk show and more. We'll have live entertainment, children's activities and food trucks.

Naturalist Series - 2017 

This series presents thought-provoking and engaging topics focused on New Mexico's environment. Topics include rainwater harvesting, petroglyph history and the geology of the Rio Grande.

Family Fun - Fall

Weekly crafts, outdoor activities, and experiments will be offered to deepen your discovery of the natural world. 

Each visitor can make a journal and crafts to take home. Activities are all correlated to school science standards making this a great opportunity for homeschoolers to learn, explore and play! 

Each month has a different topic, and each Sunday has a different activity.

Backyard Farming Series - Fall

The Backyard Farming Series is back featuring experts in their fields who will provide hands-on experiences giving participants practical information to transform their backyards into a thriving urban oasis of food, medicine and wildlife habitat. 

Series starts August 5, 2017.

  • Get into the Halloween spirit while keeping it green by learning how to make your own costume out of recycled materials. In this workshop we will explore various costuming techniques using upcycled materials. Feel free to bring any recycled items and/or repurposed clothing that you would like to transform into a costume.

  • Every gardener struggles with common problems such as pests, weeds and watering. This workshop will offer useful tips and tricks for dealing with these issues and how to be proactive. This workshop is free but participants must register below or by calling (505) 314-0398.
