The Bernalillo County Public Art Program currently has about 350 works of art within and outside county buildings and in unincorporated areas of Bernalillo County. 

Explore the Bernalillo County Public Art Collection with our interactive public art map.  Each work of art in the collection can be viewed in slideshow format.  The collection is located inside county facilities as well as in the outdoors at public parks, schools and open space.

  • Weekly crafts, outdoor activities, and experiments will be offered to deepen your discovery of the natural world. Each visitor can make a journal and crafts to take home. Activities are correlated to school science standards making this a great opportunity for homeschoolers to learn, explore and play! Contact (505) 314-0420.

  • Join Dara Saville, founder of Albuquerque Herbalism, for a photographic slideshow on medicinal plants and landscapes of central New Mexico. Learn about the properties of some common healing herbs in our area and sample a few herbal remedies. Explore the local landscapes including the Chihuahua Desert, Sandia Mountains, and the Bosque and see how these dynamic places are evolving and what it means for our selected medicinal plants. Workshops are free, but space is limited and participants must register below or call (505) 314-0398.
