    Reels and Wheels Documentary

    The documentary follows the Reels and Wheels commission by the Arts Board and the design/build process by artist Howard Meehan and culminates with the dedication of the piece in front of the Hiland Theater on Central Avenue on historic Route 66.

    BernCo Celebrates 25 Years of Public Art

    Attendees of the celebration enjoyed hands-on art making, workshops, ”The Making of Reels and Wheels” Movie Premier, live music by Zack Freeman, and birthday cake.

    New Public Art Design Unveiled Aug. 3

    Students from Working Classroom in collaboration with artist Mark Horst welcome the community to view a large scale sculpture model which will eventually be located at Dolores Huerta Gateway Park.

    BernCo Public Art Sculpture Dedicated at Rape Crisis Center

    Commissioner Wayne Johnson and community members dedicated a bronze sculpture, Bird Ryders, at a special ceremony on Tuesday, April 11 at the Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico. The metal sculpture is funded by Bernalillo County 1% for the Arts.
