Some newer works in Bernalillo County’s collection were part of The New Mexico Connection art show in October of 2015 at the African American Performing Arts Center at the Expo New Mexico grounds.

That exhibit featured a variety of works from 33 local artists whose work was recently acquired by the Bernalillo Public Art program, from iconic photographs by Lee Marmon to contemporary paintings by Neal Ambrose-Smith and mythical collages by Holly Roberts.
