Facility Description​s:

  • Multi-Purpose Room: Great for birthday parties, large events, and family gatherings
  • Outdoor Property: Great for picnics, and outdoor family gatherings field/ jumpers will need to be approved by sports. Contact Sports (505-314-0423 Rick Espinosa)
  • Meeting Rooms: Great for small meetings such as HOA’s
  • Kitchen Use: Great to keep or help maintain warm food
  • Stage Area W/O Equipment: Great for add on to the multi-purpose room if needing more space
  • Gym: Great for bigger rentals such as weddings

  • Dog Park
    ​​Nice, fenced open-space for your dogs to come in and play. Dogs need to be friendly and leashed until they are fully in the dog park.
     
  • Hiking Trails
    These hiking trails behind the community center are maintained by East Mountain High School. These beautiful shared trails are open to the public. These trails are on county, private and high school property. Please note that they are for hiking -  no horses or motorized vehicles are allowed on the trails.

  • Weekly crafts, outdoor activities, and experiments will be offered to deepen your discovery of the natural world. Each visitor can make a journal and crafts to take home. Activities are correlated to school science standards making this a great opportunity for homeschoolers to learn, explore and play! Contact (505) 314-0420.

  • At the end of the Triassic period, about 200 million years ago, dinosaurs became the dominant animals in terrestrial ecosystems for the next 140 million years. In order to understand how this happened, we need to examine the ecosystems just before the turnover. The workshop is free but space is limited. Register below.

  • Learn wood carving Mondays from 9- to 11 a.m. at Los Vecinos Community Center. Classes are for those ages 18 and up. Pay a $12 membership fee - seniors over 55 and veterans are free. Questions? Call the center at (505) 314-0240.
