Why is this measure important?

To ensure the County is in compliance with National Incident Management System (NIMS) requirements as required in each year’s grant award given to the county to support typed teams. And that each employee has the basic understanding of ICS in the event there is a disaster or incident requiring them to work in the County’s EOC.

Where does the data come from?

Training Reports generated from MYBLC; Individual employees entering and uploading certificated in MYBLC

How is the measure calculated?

Total number of employees who have taken and uploaded their certificate in MYBLC divided by the number of total County employees (filled positions).

Additional Information

Still working with HR on transitioning ICS records into MYBLC in order to give credit to each department and each county employee for taking the required ICS/NIMS classes.
