    Why is this measure important?

This is a requirement, outlined in the EMPG sub-grant. Each individual who is funded under the EMPG Grant (50% Funding) is required to comply with the terms outlined within the sub-grant agreement. This office wants to ensure that it is tracking every individual required to attend training and exercises.

Where does the data come from?

Grant funded individuals are required to sign in at exercise location and each individual's participation is track on OHSEM spreadsheet that records name of individual and exercise in which they participated. On a quarterly bases DHSEM conducts a monitoring visit to OHSEM where documents are reviewed and a quarterly report is produced by DHSEM.

    How is the measure calculated?

Take the number of individuals requiring participation and divide it by the number of exercises required.
