Why is this measure important?

This is an ongoing performance measure that monitors our response to call in complaints regarding possible zoning and building infractions that are called in. The complaints may include cases of building without proper permits or zoning complaints in the community. The response time is based on the time that is spent before an inspector visits the property to determine the appropriate remedy for the issue that is encountered in the field. The result of the inspection may vary depending on the unique circumstances surrounding each case.

How is the measure calculated?

Code Enforcement (Building, Zoning) Cases enter date by the time inspector schedules and completes the inspection for that case. The Percentage of Code Enforcement (Building, Zoning) Case that are done within 48 hours from case intake to inspection
