COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE

The County Clerk is responsible for conducting major elections, including the Primary and General Elections in even-numbered years, and the APS and CNM elections in odd-numbered years. The County Clerk also assists with municipal elections.
All public records are filed in the Clerk's Office. Indexes are available on-line under Document Search. Public Records include Deeds, Mortgages, Liens, Judgments, Marriage Licenses, Recording and Filing, and other public record documents. Divorces and Foreclosures are filed in District Court.

eRecording
The office of the Bernalillo County Clerk is pleased to announce the implementation of eRecording effective Friday, November 14, 2008. Our office has instituted the steps necessary to allow the acceptance of electronically recorded documents from approved submitters.
