Emergency Alerts Can Now Go to Cell

Bernalillo County Emergency Communications Center are pleased to announce that residents and business owners in the unincorporated areas of Bernalillo County may now register their cell and/or VoIP phone number(s) to receive important and/or emergency notifications.

The new Emergency Target Notification System can send thousands of messages in a very short amount of time, specifically targeted to certain areas.


Commissioner's Invitation To Support Name For New County Law Enforcement Substation

Commissioner Michael Brasher and members of the community will name the new East Mountain Fire and Sheriff’s Substation in memory of Deputy James McGrane. Deputy McGrane was shot and killed in the line of duty on March 22, 2006 while making a routine traffic stop in Tijeras, New Mexico.
