The Bernalillo County Public Art Program was established in 1992 with the adoption of the Art in Public Places ordinance. The ordinance created the Arts Board, a 10 member appointed advisory board that selects artworks for public acquisition and display.
The program currently has over 160 works of art and most can be viewed through the Interactive Public Art Map link to the right.
