Home burglary and auto theft are always concerns, but Bernalillo County Commissioner Maggie Hart Stebbins stresses there are many ways people can protect themselves and their property from crime.
Commissioner Hart Stebbins will host a free “Protect Yourself & Your Family” event on Sunday, September 20 in the Jefferson Middle School Library, 712 Girard Blvd. NE, at 3 p.m. Guest speakers will include law enforcement experts from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department and Albuquerque Police Department.
“There is always something we can learn when it comes to protecting ourselves, our family members and our homes,” says Commissioner Hart Stebbins. “I hope everyone takes advantage of this opportunity to learn more about public safety.”
