Los Padillas Parking Lot Reconstruction Project
The primary purpose of this project is reconstruct the two paved parking lots west of the Community Center and south of the old clinic building to improve vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Improvements include:
- Consolidating the two separate paved parking lots into one lot with ADA and sidewalk access to the Community Center;
- Providing a connection between the new paved parking lot and the gravel parking lot to the west;
- Grading the new parking lot to prevent water from ponding;
- Constructing a new enclosure for Community Center vehicles;
- Installing new fencing.
The project will begin November 2013 and is anticipated to finish January 2014. Working hours will generally be limited to standard working hours, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
During construction, parking will be provided in the gravel lot to the west of the existing paved parking lot. The contractor will provide access through or around the construction zone to the Community Center and retain access from the existing bus stop.
