Mountain View Community Center and Bernalillo County Parks and Recreation are responsible for creating and providing recreation, leisure and community services necessary to promote public well-being and quality of life for youth and adults.

The goal of Mountain View Community Center is to provide the means by which our community members can participate in self-enhancing activities and make positive changes in their lives.

We're building a community in the South Valley, and it all begins with YOU!

Each month will focus on a different theme and each week will feature new activities for families that include an experiment for older explorers and a craft that will challenge your mind and your hands. Come answer a challenge question to receive a prize! Bring your friends and join a game, or come each week and build your own nature experiences.

  • Benches, stability balls and dumb bells are used for dynamic - metabolic strength training. This one-hour total body workout builds strong lean muscle and burns calories. A variety of strength training modalities are used along with a constant core challenge. All levels are welcome. Modifications are shown and encouraged.
