Due to the winter storm, Bernalillo County Public Works Crews are on standby, ready to roll early tomorrow morning, if the winter storm dumps enough snow to cause hazardous driving conditions in the unincorporated areas of Bernalillo County.
Public Works road supervisors will follow their regular protocol to ensure the roads are safe. Supervisors will head out to assess road conditions around 3:00 a.m. tomorrow morning--and then they will make a decision on where to mobilize crews to salt, grade and plow snowy roads.
To report snowy road conditions outside of the city limits, residents should call the Bernalillo County Public Works main number at 848-1503. Calls for service are logged and transmitted every few hours to the supervisors for their awareness. The x1503 extension has a recording that provides an after-hours phone number for non-emergency hazard and safety calls.
