Bridge and Isleta Reconstruction Project
On Monday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., traffic signals will be shut down for approximately four to five hours, while new traffic signal equipment is installed at the intersection.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department will be onsite to direct traffic.
Motorists are advised to avoid the intersection of Bridge Boulevard and Isleta Boulevard during this time, and to seek alternate routes. Drivers can expect delays until the new traffic signals are operational.
Alameda Trail Project
A full closure of Edith Boulevard at Alameda Boulevard is scheduled to be begin on May 9, and will be in effect for up to four weeks. This closure is necessary for construction of a pedestrian bridge over Edith Boulevard, as part of the Alameda Trail Project under construction from Fourth Street to Edith Boulevard.
Edith Boulevard traffic will be detoured to Alameda Road and Ortega Road during the closure. Neighborhood traffic will have access to Edith Boulevard up to the bridge crossing location.
During the work, drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
