Music, Prizes, Food and More At Friday Event
Bernalillo County Commission Chair Art De La Cruz welcomes the community to celebrate a new AquaClimb climbing wall at the Rio Grande Indoor Pool this Friday from 2-4 p.m.
The 13-foot AquaClimb climbing wall allows swimmers another option to enjoy the high-quality pool at 2312 Arenal Road S.W., which features eight swimming lanes, a diving board and a water slide. A smaller pool for toddlers is located on site as well.
The event also features music, refreshments and games. The county’s affordable admission fees apply for the pool -- $2.50 for a daily pass for children 6-17 years old, and $1 for children under 5-years-old.
“I’m pleased to announce more affordable opportunities for families in Bernalillo County’s excellent parks and recreation system,” Commissioner De La Cruz says. “I encourage our young people to get involved in one of the many positive sports and community center programs offered by Bernalillo County.”
