“Any type of road construction is challenging for everyone involved. The public’s patience and understanding during this phase of construction on Eubank Boulevard is sincerely appreciated by the county,” says District 4 County Commissioner Lonnie Talbert. “The road improvements will prove to be worth the wait.”
Eubank Boulevard between Paseo Del Norte and Wilshire Avenue was completely reconstructed. The segment between Paseo del Norte and Corona Avenue is now a two-lane divided roadway with a landscaped center median, curb and gutter, bicycle lanes, an asphalt paved multi-use pedestrian trail, and storm drainage improvements.

The total project cost of the design and construction of Eubank Boulevard, Phase Two is 2.1 million. The four-month project was completed on schedule.
Minor miscellaneous work will continue for the next week or two, but two-way traffic will be maintained.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony highlighting the roadway improvements is planned for early spring.
