District 4 Commissioner Michael C. Wiener invites residents to attend a public meeting to share their ideas and to discuss the design plans for pedestrian and bicyclist facilities in Bernalillo County.
Pedestrian and bicyclist facilities are an integral part of the county’s transportation system. A study is being conducted to identify the most important issues in the county and to help prioritize those projects.
The public informational meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept 28, at the Paradise Hills Community Center located at 5901 Paradise Blvd NW and on Wednesday, Oct 5, at the Lt. William Sibrava Memorial Sub-Station located at 10401 Holly NE. Both public meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Bernalillo County Public Works Division staff will provide important information about this stage of the safety study and action plan.
