Los Padillas Community Center
2117 Los Padillas Rd. SW
During this phase of the Project, the Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority (AMAFCA) will construct a pipe line that will connect three dam outfalls, one each from Don Felipe, Raymac and McCoy Dams, into a single outfall pipe that will be connected to the existing pipe in Raymac Road that flows to the Rio Grande.
A pipe alignment along the MRGCD Gun Club Lateral was chosen to minimize the impact to the traveling public and to minimize interruptions in water, sewer and gas service to residents in the south valley.
Once completed, the Project will allow numerous ood plains to be removed and will address ooding along Coors Blvd. The Project will consist of approximately 17,000 linear feet of storm drain that will run from Don Felipe Road to Los Padillas Road.
