Please join Commissioner Maggie Hart Stebbins for the next District 3 Art Show featuring an exhibit of hand-printed linens by Kei Tsuzuki and Molly Luethi. This show is the 22nd in a series of exhibits showcasing the talent and creativity of District 3 artists.
Kei Tsuzuki and Molly Luethi are two friends, mothers, and printers. They founded Kei & Molly Textiles, LLC in 2010 as a printing studio dedicated to creating artisan-quality, hand-printed fabric goods. They design all our images themselves, often inspired by what they see in New Mexico as well as by their individual backgrounds -- Kei is Japanese but grew up in Montréal; Molly is Swiss American with a Japanese husband.
Their product line includes kitchen linens and home & fashion accessories.
They both bring a lifetime of experience to this new venture. Kei has printed for designers such as Jonathan Adler and Denyse Schmidt, and has shown products at the New York International Gift Fair. Molly’s international background brings a global perspective to our designs and sensibility. She has been a dedicated educator for over 20 years and speaks five languages.
Their store/studio is located at 5321 Acoma Rd. SE, near the intersection of Central and San Mateo and in the heart of District 3.
We invite you to an opening reception on Wednesday, November 7, from 5-6:30 p.m.Our offices are on the 10th Floor of One Civic, Suite 10111.
