The Office of Neighborhood Coordination is holding a free workshop on May 15 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Learn how to conduct an effective meeting, take the fear out of presenting to planning commissions and elected officials, and how to prevent crime in your neighborhood.
The workshop is open to all Bernalillo County and City of Albuquerque recognized neighborhood associations. Space is limited to 50 participants. The first two association members attend FREE; each additional member is $25 per person.
Bernalillo County realizes that associations operate at various capacities. It is our hope that this workshop will provide valuable information for all assoications. Sessions will range from conducting an effective meeting to taking the fear out of presenting to planning commissions and elected officials; as well as crime prevention, which is a concern to all communities.
