If you are interested in processing food in your home for sale at farmers' markets and craft fairs, there are two public meetings scheduled to discuss current regulations and hear your input.
Commissioner Debbie O'Malley, District 1 and Commissioner Art De La Cruz, District 2, along with the county's Office of Health and Social Services, have scheduled two public meetings regarding home-based food processing.
The meetings are scheduled:
- Monday, July 29, Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center, 9800 Fourth St. NW, 6:30 - 8 p.m.
- Monday, Aug. 19, South Valley Economic Development Center, 318 Isleta Blvd. SW, 6:30 - 8 p.m
