There’s still time for locally-owned restaurants, breweries and wineries to sign up for Taste of New Mexico 2013, scheduled for Oct. 12 -13 at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. The event will feature the very best food and drink of the Southwest, from chile to cupcakes and great local breweries. “Taste of New Mexico is a great boost for our locally-owned restaurants, breweries and wineries that participate in this special event,” Commission Chair Maggie Hart Stebbins says. “It’s an opportunity for our businesses that specialize in food and drink to highlight their best offerings to both locals and visitors alike.”
Taste of New Mexico is scheduled on the second weekend of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, which brings an influx of tourists from all over the world.
This year’s event will take place at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, 1701 4th Street S.W.
Interested restaurants, breweries and wineries can contact Amanda Colburn at 505.314.0495 for more information. The deadline for restaurants to sign up as vendors is Friday, Sept. 27.
