This project includes the assessment, design and ultimate construction of a sewer system servicing a neighborhood in the North Valley of Albuquerque, NM. It is intended to protect and enhance groundwater quality in the region through the ultimate decommissioning of private residential sewer septic systems in the neighborhood.
The project will also enhance existing residential roads, improving access and the long term operations and maintenance cost for these facilities.
Project boundaries are Roy Avenue on the south, the New Mexico Department of Transportation Railroad on the west, the Sandia Pueblo to the north and approximately Edith Blvd. to the east.
The county selected and awarded an engineering design contract through competitive bid to a consultant, Wilson and Company, for this project. It is currently being designed.
