Principal Adele Evans
|A partnership between the Bernalillo County Youth Services Center (YSC) and Albuquerque Public Schools supports a fully functioning alternative school site in the Center. The school offers instruction in all core content areas with a focus on literacy, technology and graduation. In addition, the school works with Central New Mexico Community College to coordinate efforts associated with students identified as candidates to take the GED exam. The YSC is designated as a testing site for the GED exam. The exam is administered four times a year at the YSC.

- Attendance and academic grades can be transferred upon a student’s release to their next educational setting
An alternative school that offers continued educational opportunities through the use of NOVANET credit recovery to general education high school students who have been suspended or expelled for major infractions of the disciplinary code. Students attend the period of their school suspension.
Transition Education Program:
An alternative school program that offers continued educational opportunities to both special and general education students at the middle and high school levels who are receiving court mandated services (i.e., Community Custody Program, Youth Reporting Center and Girls Reporting Center).
