Visiting
VISITING IS AVAILABLE SEVEN DAYS A WEEK
Please refer to Custody List to locate inmate's assigned unit before visiting.
Visits are scheduled on a first come first serve basis.
Visits may be cancelled without prior notice.
Visiting Hours:

Monday - Unit D* and Unit F 8:00am to 1:30pm (Units D1, D2, & D5 have no visits on Mondays)
Unit E 4:00pm to 6:30pm

Tuesday - Unit E* 8:00am to 1:30pm (Units E3, & E4 have no visits on Tuesdays)
Unit D and Unit F 4:00pm to 6:30pm

Wednesday - Unit F 8:00am to 1:30pm
S/I Unit and Unit E 4:00pm to 6:30pm

Thursday - S/I Unit and Unit E * 8:00am to 1:30pm (Units E3, & E4 have no visits on Thursdays)
Unit F 4:00pm to 6:30pm

Friday - HSU/Infirmary and S/I Unit and Unit E and Unit F 8:00am to 1:30pm
HSU/Infirmary/S/I Unit 4:00pm to 6:30pm

Saturday - Unit E and Unit F 8:00am to 1:30pm
Unit D and HSU/Infirmary and S/I Unit 4:00pm to 6:30pm

Sunday - Unit D and HSU/Infirmary and S/I Unit 8:00am to 1:30pm
Unit E and Unit F 4:00pm to 6:30pm
EACH INMATE IS PERMITTED TWO VISITS PER WEEK
Visiting Rules:

No weapons or contraband are allowed.

Visitors are restricted to visiting only the inmate they've requested.

A person will be denied visiting privileges if:

The Unit Lieutenant, Sergeant or someone of higher authority who considers the person a threat to the safety of the center, staff or inmates.

The inmate refuses visit.

The visitor is abusive to MDC personnel.
-
The visitor is not present at the scheduled visiting time.

The visitor is inappropriately dressed. Appropriate dress for male and female visitors is defined as follows:

Male visitors:

Shirt must be worn at all times. Sleeveless garments are not acceptable.

Cut-offs or any type of shorts are not acceptable.

Footwear must be worn.

Hats are not acceptable in visiting room.

Female visitors:

Shorts are not acceptable.

See-through clothing of any type is not acceptable.

Sleeveless garments are not acceptable. (i.e. tanktops, halter tops, etc.)
-
Dresses or skirts with slits higher than four inches above the knee are not acceptable.
-
Hats and scarves of any type are not acceptable in visiting room.

Bathing suits will not be worn as an outer garment.

Footwear must be worn.
Visitors are subject to denial of visiting privileges if attire is deemed inappropriate by MDC staff. |
