COVID Testing at Las Estancias on Nov. 28 and Dec. 8

Coronavirus (COVID-19) testing is slated for the South Valley of Bernalillo County on two separate dates.

The testing was requested by Bernalillo County Commissioner Steven Michael Quezada. The test days and location will be operated in conjunction with the New Mexico Department of Health and Presbyterian Healthcare.

“The South Valley has the most coronavirus cases in the county,” says Bernalillo County Commissioner Steven Michael Quezada. “These are the workers who staff the restaurants, stores, gas stations; they are frontline servants and I want to help everyone who wants a test to get one and to help get this pandemic under control and save lives.”

Testing will be conducted at Las Estancias Center, in the movie theater parking lot at Los Estancias shopping center near Coors and Rio Bravo Boulevards, as follows:

  • Saturday, Nov 28, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 8, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

This is a public test site and anyone can get tested. Preference will be given to people exhibiting coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms; however, asymptomatic people can be tested as well. Asymptomatic means that a person is experiencing no symptoms or evidence of illness or abnormality.

Bernalillo County is asking those who get in line for a test to not block access to businesses in the area.
