  • Join Commissioner Lonnie C. Talbert and Rep. William "Bill" R. Rehm for a groundbreaking of the Fire Station #35/Paseo del Norte Access on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. This project will provide roadway and signal improvements to allow emergency vehicles direct access to Paseo del Norte from county Fire Station #35, located on the PDN frontage road between Browning and Lowell Streets. These improvements will reduce response time, since emergency vehicles will no longer need to travel along the frontage road to access PDN at Browning or Lowell Streets, which are located just west of Tramway Boulevard. Funds in the amount of $275,000 were provided for this project by the state Legislature.
