BernCo Board Honors Deputy Emergency Manager for Expert Work During Hurricane Harvey

The Bernalillo County Board of Commissioners recognized Deputy Emergency Manager Tom Walmsley for serving as incident commander in Wharton, Texas after Hurricane Harvey hit.

Bernalillo County Public Safety Memorial Ribbon-Cutting Held Sept. 23

Bernalillo County, along with the public safety community, formally presented the first of two Bernalillo County public safety memorials to the community at a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday, Sept. 23, at 1:30 p.m. The East Mountain memorial is located at 49 Public School Road in Tijeras, NM, across the roadway from the Deputy James McGrane Public Safety Center.
