Movies in the Park returns for the summer of 2021 on June 5!

The smell of popcorn is in the air as Bernalillo County is warming up the old projector to resume the Movies in the Park series.

The county had previously gone to drive-in style summer movies during the pandemic, but will resume normal outdoor, grass-seating Movies in the Park beginning Saturday, June 5.

Movies in the Park will require a reserved ticket. Each ticket reservation will allow for up to six persons in a group for each social circle. Reservations must be made at

Food vendors will be onsite. Moviegoers may bring blankets, lawn chairs, and their own food and drinks. Absolutely no alcohol, glass, sharp or dangerous items, or video recording devices are allowed.

Designated social circles will be established for all attendees. Masks are not required but are encouraged.
