    New BernCo Housing Nonprofit Signs First Agreement

    BernCo Commissioners have approved the transfer of $500,000 to the newly created Bernalillo County Affordable Housing Nonprofit to help DBG Properties build the Valle del Rio senior apartments on Bridge Boulevard, just west of the Rio Grande.

    • Bernalillo County Open Space and Cottonwood Gulch Explorations are hosting Fall Family Fun Days every Sunday through November, noon – 5 p.m. at Bachechi Open Space, 9521 Rio Grande Boulevard NW. Fall Family Fun Days offers free fun for the whole family. Each week includes a new crafts project, outdoor activities and experiments, to help everyone discover the outdoor world. Every month is also a new theme. In September, learn how to identify wildlife by “Tracking.” Families receive tracking guides with molds of animal tracks and scat to discover the activity of local creatures.
