    Movies in the Park, Showing in June, July, August


    Bernalillo County’s popular Movies in the Park series is showing from June through August, with family-friendly nights and family-friendly movies.

    All movies begin at dusk, but may be cancelled due to weather. Movies in the Park will show on:

    • June 1 at Westside Community Center with Hotel Transylvania 3.
    • June 8 at Paradise Hills Park with A Wrinkle in Time.
    • June 14 at Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center with Bumble Bee.
    • June 15 at Prado Del Sol (Twin Parks) with Ralph Breaks the Internet.
    • June 22 at Los Vecinos Community Center with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
    • June 29 at Tom Tenorio Park with Avengers Infinity War.
    • July 6 at Mariposa Park with Mary Poppins Returns.
    • July 13 at Matthew Meadows Park with Sherlock Gnomes.
    • July 20 at North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center with Antman and the Wasp.
    • July 27 at Vista Grande Community Center with Christopher Robin.
    • Aug. 10 at Jerry Cline Park with Incredibles 2.

    • Plant Walk (9-11 a.m.) Take an easy stroll around the gardens and grounds of Bachechi Open Space and learn about native medicinal plants of our area that are most useful for our health and well-being. Discussion topics will include harvesting, herbal actions, preparations, cultivation, and plant ecology. The walk will be approximately 1.5 hours, and, if you would like, please bring note-taking materials. Grape Harvest (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.) Join us to celebrate the grape harvest. Help pick grapes fresh from the vines at Bachechi to make and then sample homemade grape juice.

    • Play, learn and explore with the entire family at Summer Family Fun Days at Bachechi Open Space! Each Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. come out for weekly crafts, outdoor activities and experiments that will deepen your discovery of the world.
