Apply Now For Outdoor Classroom Grants from Bernalillo County

Bernalillo County’s Health Promotion Team is now accepting grant applications to help educators establish outdoor classrooms.

Selected applicants will be awarded up to $800 in pre-approved supplies and mentorship to help establish and organize their own outdoor classroom, such as a school garden or hoop garden.

Applications are accepted now through Sept. 9, 2015.

Applications can be delivered to:

Bernalillo County Health Promotion Team, 111 Union Square St. SE, Second Floor, Suite 202, Albuquerque, NM 87102

Applications must be date stamped by the Bernalillo County Health Promotion Team by 4 p.m. on Sept. 9, 2015. Late applications will not be considered. Selected applicants will be notified by Sept. 15, 2015 of the award. 

This funding is made available through the New Mexico Tourism Department’s New Mexico Clean and Beautiful grant program.

This event is part of the volunteer SKYWARN weather spotters and volunteers training for the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network (CoCoRaHS). Registration closes May 21.
