11/13/2018

The Bernalillo County Board of Commissioners along with the County Manager would like to recognize the 2018 Bernalillo County Bond Committee for their hard work and dedication to the citizens of Bernalillo County. The 2018 committee members are:

Benjamin Gardner

Bob Wood

Devonte Watson

Craig Hoover

Chris Baca

David Wilson

Paula Gartner

George Radnovich

Mike Malloy

Scott Perkins

Richard Torrez – Treasurer

Dan Newman

Liz Hamm

Carlos Padilla

The members of the bond committee represent engineers, consultants, and industry and community leaders within Bernalillo County who greatly supported the county's general obligation bonds that were on the Nov. 6, 2018, general election ballot.

They are volunteers who gave their own time to educate the public and to advocate for voter approval of the bonds.

Several members have been on the bond committee for a number of years and the committee as a whole has been a reliable group that has well served the public for 20-plus years.

Congratulations to all of the bond committee members whose volunteered time and diligent efforts resulted in the voter approval of ALL of the 2018 general obligation bonds by an overwhelming average of 74 percent.

Because of your work, Bernalillo County has over $38 million in general obligation bonds that will go toward needed roadway, storm drain, recreation, housing, library and civic projects that will benefit the entire community and enhance our everyday quality of life.
