BernCo Seeks Input on Naming its Future Headquarters

Bernalillo County is seeking public input on the name of its future flagship offices, located at 415 Silver SW in Downtown Albuquerque.

Bernalillo County purchased the building, south of Central, in 2018 to serve as its future flagship center. The new administrative offices will serve as a state-of-the-art, one-stop-shop resource for county residents. The county will move to the new location in 2021, after renovations are completed to give the administrative building a useful life of 30 years.

The public is able to comment on proposed names for the new flagship headquarters. Several names are listed on BernCo.gov for comment, and residents can make recommendations for other names. The Board of County Commissioners will decide the final name after public comments end.

The public can make comments and recommendations at bernco.gov/Government/comment-on-renaming-county-buildings-facilities.aspx.
