BernCo Produces Video, Guidance on Social Distancing During COVID-19

Bernalillo County has produced an instructional video for residents to learn best behaviors and guidance for social distancing, to help stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the community.

Social distancing is a tactical response to the spread of COVID-19. It is designed to “flatten the curve,” or keep the rate of infections low to avoid overwhelming doctors and hospitals.

Certain best behaviors prevent COVID-19 from spreading in the community, including:

  • Staying at least six feet away from others.
  • Keeping outdoor group sizes at five or fewer.
  • Avoiding unnecessary outside activity.
  • Staying home when sick.

The video is available on YouTube and can be viewed below. It can be shared with friends, family and followers online and via social media.
