Bernalillo County Assessor's Office Veterans Outreach continues Feb. 21, 2019, in partnership with the New Mexico Department of Veteran Services.

Learn about the property tax saving programs available to you as a veteran or a surviving spouse.

Two types of veterans' exemptions are available:

Service related exemption which gives a $4,000 reduction in taxable value of the property.
100 percent disabled exemption that relieves the veteran of all property taxes owed on their primary residence.
