Action Steps

  1. New software has been installed and reports will be developed to present accurate data on department
  2. Reports will include information on animal intake, outcomes, call response, adoptions and licenses issued
  3. Build quarterly reports that will reflect the national reporting requirements
  4. Build monthly reports that will reflect the national reporting requirements

Why is this measure important?

This data will allow the public to see what kind of animals the shelter is taking in. We will also have visibility to high intake locations (area/district) and provide reporting to interested parties. This information is also needed when applying for grants.

Where does the data come from?

Chameleon Database; track completion of action steps

How is the measure calculated?

Percentage based on the completion of action steps; each action step will be assigned a percentage (4 action steps each worth 25%)
